CLEAR PENALTY!! Still, the Chelski one v Manure last week was soft, so I guess they DO all even out over the course of a season. Just need L’pool to stick it to Manure tomorrow and we’ll all feel better.

this ref should be demoted to League One till he learns how to call a game properly. This was only one of several poor decisions

If chelsea is awarded a penatly, this is a no doubt. And no they don’t even out over the course of a season. Look at man u avoiding clear penalty and red for neville against west brom. Man u also avoided a penalty against blackpool which would have put them 3 down. Then there’s berbas dive against liverpool. It’s a disgrace, then saf feels he has reason to complain? Oh yeah and what about the second penalty against newcastle. Have the refs ever decided a league so blatantly?

Penalty, my arse! He just stopped him slamming the ball into row Z. Instead it went into row Y. Get over it and stop crying into your Wenger sponsored bowl of childrens cereal.

f*ck this. jesus. with the way some of BFC’s players were talking about clear dislike for arsenal, why can’t the refs have it?
it’s time foreign referees are brought in. stop all this bullshit xenophobic nonsense.

It couldn’t be evident anymore: the British refs will not allow Arsenal to win the EPL. Despite not being their best Arsenal won the match fair and square but, as Wenger himself said, “what can you do?” You can beat 11 men but not 11opposition players+1ref+2linesmen. Some of these refs are an absolute disgrace to the beautiful game and don’t deserve to be on the pitch.

the contact is SUFFICIENT to effect arshavins shot – penalty!
however because the contact is subtle, and the linesman either wasn’t paying attention or didn’t have the balls to stick his neck out, Sunderland got away with it.
no fair play in the sport whatsoever. the act by this player could be decisive in the outcome of the championship.

I guess there should be 2 refs and 2 linesman at any one time. They are just plain lazy to get closer to the ball
