Arsenal
My Interview With Arsene Wenger….
As an interviewer, if I ever met up with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger these are the 6 questions I would ask him. The interview would probably last 12 mins, but the end results would be good enough for Gooners to judge how far their team would progress in the near future:
Q1. Clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea spend alot on players. Uefa as you know has come out on the financial ruling but that shall be implemented from next year. Seeing the current trend of clubs buying big name players, and the premier league becoming more and more competitive, don’t you think for at least next season you should buy some big name players?
Q2. They call Jose Mourinho the tactician. However the same name does not really define you. Do you ever discuss tactics with your team, or is it clearly old school football which infers that you tell your players to give it their best, and play their own game before, and during half-time of every match?
Q3. Sometimes you have always shown faith in young players. Players like Denilson and Bendtner who have received some criticism from fans and experts. Why do you go on showing faith in them rather than buying suitable replacements?
Q4. Do you ever give the rough-treatment to your players, when the team is not performing well?
Q5. Fans around the world, and in England are tired of waiting for 1 trophy. As you know, and I’m sure you hear this alot, Arsenal won their last trophy in 2005. At the end of every season you come out with the positives that the team has shown throughout the season, but the main thing of winning a trophy is always missing. Do you plan to throw in the towel anytime soon?
Q6. And lastly, Arsene ever think of dying your hair black ?
Guns-out,
