Manchester United will play their final home game of the season when they entertain Fulham at Old Trafford this evening.

United head into the game off the back of two disappointing defeats to Leicester City and Liverpool but they still sit well-placed in second position with just two fixtures remaining.

Leicester are four points adrift in third but they face two tough games against Chelsea and Tottenham in their remaining fixtures so United could wrap-up second spot with a win over Fulham today.

That would allow boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the opportunity to rest his key players for the final match against Wolves on Sunday ahead of the Europa League final with Villarreal just three days later.

The hosts should be confident of getting the win on home soil as they’ll be up against a Fulham side who are already consigned to relegation and come into the match without a win in their last eight games.

Betting odds

As you’d expect, Manchester United are the heavy favourites to win the game today and can be backed at odds of 3/10 with the likes of https://deutsche-slots-online.de/30-freispiele-ohne-einzahlung/ while Fulham are priced at around 9/1 to collect the three points at Old Trafford.

The draw at odds of 5/1 may tempt some who feel their will be an upset but we can’t see past a routine Man Utd victory and 3-0 looks good value at odds of 7/1.

Edinson Cavani has been in good goalscoring form lately and the South American hitman is 10/3 to open the scoring this evening. Back Cavani to score first in a 3-0 win and you’d get odds of around 30/1.

Team news

Manchester United will continue to be without the services of Harry Maguire as he’s still working his way back from an ankle injury. The centre-back is facing a race against time to be fit for the Europa League final.

Phil Jones is also still out but Anthony Martial is set to return to the squad after overcoming a knee injury that he sustained while away on international duty in March.

Daniel James is also back in contention so Solskjaer has some options in the final third if he wants to freshen things up from the side that lost to Liverpool last time out.

As for Fulham, they’ll be without Tom Cairney due to a knee injury while Antonee Robinson is out with a foot injury. Terence Kongolo is also absent due to an on-going knee injury.

Prediction

Man Utd will have been disappointed to lose their last two matches but this is a great opportunity to get back to winning ways. Fulham are already down and having nothing left to play for while United know victory would wrap-up second spot. We think the hosts will ease to a 3-0 win. Man Utd 3-0 Fulham
