TRANSFER NEWS: Arsenal Sign Duo, 30m Striker Also Linked, Liverpool Keeper Update…
Here is some transfer news on Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Man City.
Arsenal Snap Up Barcelona Duo
It’s official, as Arsenal have penned a deal, or should I say ‘deals’ with La Masia graduates Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin, as announced by sources at Sky Sports News. Both on long term contracts lasting 5 years. They join the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Fran Merida and more recently, Ignasi Miquel. Barcelona offered both of them contracts at the Nou Camp, but both thought that England would serve their futures better.
Ironically, the long chase for the duo was completed whilst the Barcelona squad were preparing for the Champions League final…. at the Arsenal’s training ground.
Arsenal/Tottenham Aiming To Meet Falcao’s buy-out clause
Another one about Arsenal today, and it’s about Porto’s striker, Falcao. The striker wants to leave in the summer, and both Arsene Wenger and Harry Redknapp have taken a big interest in the forward whom has helped Porto to an incredible season under Villas-Boas. The buy-out clause is a whopping 30 million euros.
Both clubs are planning to offer €30million. We will talk with the club (Porto) quietly and consider any offer, but he (Falcao) is happy playing for Porto.

Liverpool Face Competition for Friedel
I don’t want to write about this, simply because I don’t want him at Anfield. But apparently they face competition from West Brom (yes, Hodgson’s new club) to sign the American goalkeeper.
Enough said?
Man City Edging Closer to Gary Cahill deal
Only a week or so since the Daily Mirror reported that Gary Cahill had told his mates that he wanted a ‘dream’ move to Arsenal, but now the paper is saying that:
‘Manchester City are closing in on a deal for Bolton’s England centre-half Gary Cahill in a hurry – with Nedum Onuoha a the key part of a £20million move’
Onuoha is being touted as a possible makeweight in the deal after spending last season on loan at Sunderland.
‘Bolton chief Owen Coyle is keen to take the player plus cash in exchange for Cahill. If the clubs can sort out the numbers, Cahill may even be cleared to speak to City this week.’

Will the move really happen? Not certain yet, but we’re just going to have to wait and see!
