Ancelotti confirms Drogba will start against United
By Football Talk.
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed striker Didier Drogba if fit to start against Manchester United on Saturday.
The announcement comes after speculation in the press had suggested the Ivorian hit-man would miss the top of the table clash through injury. Drogba missed Chelsea’s 7-1 demolition of Aston Villa last week and there were fears a kick to the knee in training would rule him out after he missed two days training.
But he took part in a full training session today and Ancelotti has now eased concerns and confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Drogba would play for Chelsea this weekend.
