TRANSFER NEWS: Nasri/Fabregas Latest | Liverpool Pull Out Of Striker Race | Chelsea Striker News
(Another) Story on Nasri and Fabregas’ potential departures
It’s The Daily Mirror coming up with a story claiming that Arsenal are fearing the worst for what might happen this week, which is losing BOTH Nasri and Fabregas. Both midfielders want away from The Emirates, and it seems like there is nothing that Arsene Wenger will be able to do about it.
You know, we’ve all heard the rumours before, I guess it’s just a matter of time before the deal is completed? aha, well, then again, it’s Arsene Wenger whom is manager so i guess he will decide.
So Liverpool DON’T want Wickham now?
Apparently, now Sunderland have pretty much signed English prodigy Connor Wickham, according to The Times Wickham had his sights set on Liverpool, however Liverpool are more focused in landing targets Downing, Charlie Adam and Gael Clichy.
Anfield has long been the preferred destination for the England Under-21 player and his family and, while it has been a widely held assumption that the 18-year-old would move there, Liverpool are concentrating on signing Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Gaël Clichy.

And now for some Chelsea Transfer Gossip
Chelsea intend to open talks with Didier Drogba aimed at extending the 33-year-old striker’s stay at Stamford Bridge after his former club Marseille suggested publicly they would be capable of putting together a deal to bring him back to France.
The Guardian
Chelsea are monitoring developments with Sergio Aguero after his advisers held talks with Atletico Madrid in an attempt to get the Argentina striker’s release clause reduced from £42m to £32m
The Daily Mail
So basically some pretty interesting stuff there from the Stamford Bridge camp and it seems that they want to shift their attacking formation a little bit here in the summer. It seems that it is the only department that Villas-Boas reckons needs attention.
