TRANSFER NEWS: Arsenal, Liverpool & Man Utd Latest…
For Your Liverpool FC Needs
Starting off with a summary of all the transfer activity that Liverpool have done in the transfer market over the last 2 days. Well, first of all, the Red’s young Spanish startlet Dani Pacheco. According to The Daily Mirror, he’s heading to Blackpool. Apparently, Ian Holloway has been given numerous young, exciting talents at Liverpool to handpick from to take on loan. Although Dalglish is NOT recommending a move for Englishman Jonjo Shelvey.
And for Liverpool FC’s left-back problem, Lyon man Aly Cissokho might just be the man to fit the bill at the problematic leftback starting berth. Apparently, they have now allowed for talks to go through for the man, with The Metro citing a source, Lyon coach Remi Garde himself:
Aly is an important player for us, but if an offer matches our expectation, he is likely to go
Remi Garde told Metro
And some bad news to end with for all you scousers reading this:
Portuguese star Meireles, 28, will be squeezed out following the arrival of Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson and boss Kenny Dalglish is set to keep him back as the club sets out for a pre-season tour of China today

Arsenal Bid for Downing
If I’m not mistaken, this is taken from Sky Sports and it says that apparently Arsenal have bid 18 million pounds for Aston Villa’s Stewart Downing. First of all, I don’t think that Downing is worth the fuss, I think that 18 million pounds for him is a bit much. Secondly, I think that with him asking for transfer requests both at Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, I see another ‘Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas fiasco’ happening should he move to London.
Bendtner and Almunia are (finally) leaving
Cue the cheers from the Arsenal fans. It looks like they are all set to leave, after being left behind from Arsenal’s pre-season in Asia. Apparently, they have been left behind so that they can engineer a move elsewhere faster.
(Both) Sneijder and Aguero coming to Manchester
Before you guys go off wondering which side of Manchester is involved, I’ll be the spoiler: it involves both. Basically, there’s some gossip in today’s papers suggesting that Sneijder is headed for the Red Devils and Aguero to the Sky Blues.
Now for Sneijder:
Sneijder is ready to join Premier League…..Sneijder favours a move to Old Trafford rather than taking up an alternative offer from Spanish club Malaga, who are now funded by Sheik Al Thani, of the Qatari royal family….Sources close to negotiations say they expect significant progress on a move to Old Trafford this week. A deal would take United’s summer spending to a record £90m.
The Mail
And for Aguero:
Although Atletico were previously reported to be holding out for £50m, it emerged last night that Atletico could be willing to accept £40m – and City have the cash ready. Aguero would be City’s first major signing of the summer and is likely to be followed by the arrival of Arsenal’s Samir Nasri for £25m.

So that’s it for today, be sure to come back tomorrow for more!
