TRANSFER NEWS: Wenger To Bid For £20m Bundesliga Ace

Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger has been linked with a surprising move for Bayern Munich’s Frank Ribery.
Wenger tried to sign the French international before Ribery signed for the German giants back in 2006 and again was linked with a move just last summer but was out-priced for the winger after the club demanded over £40million for him.
But after another frustrating season for Ribery, both on and off the pitch Bayern are considering a fresh start and are prepared to accept around £20million for their star forward. Allegations surrounding the Frenchman’s personal life has tarnished the clubs image and Bayern are set to cash in on the former Marseille man.
Wenger is currently in the market for an attacking midfielder which suggestions that Samir Nasri, Cesc Fabregas and Andrei Arshavin could all be sold this summer. A move could still be in doubt with the 28-year old prone to injury, the tricky winger has yet to play his 100th game for Bayern despite making his move over four seasons ago.
