Menezes: Man Utd Target Should Shun Premiership For Italy
Manchester United and AC Milan target, Ganso, has been pushed to move to Italy by the Brazilian manager.
The talented Santos playermaker has already played over 100 games for the Brazilian outfit and has been heavily linked with a move to Europe. However, the 21-year old would command a heavy transfer fee thought to be in the region of £25million which could price out Milan.
Brazilian national coach Mano Menezes has suggested Ganso to move on in order to develop. However, Menezes told Gazzetta dello Sport:
“Ganso? He has the quality and the perfect tactical sense for Italian football. He should improve his energy, but he is young, time plays in his favor.
“The problem is that for Ganso, Santos and Brazilian football is not the center of the world and when you measure yourself with other internationals you find you must give even more.
“He will develop in Italy.”
