Chelsea legend Ray Wilkins believes Arsenal will find it difficult to remain in the top four if both Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri leave this summer.
Both midfielders have been heavily linked with a move away from North London this summer with some questioning the Gunners ability to maintain a title challenge next season.
Wilkins feels its imperative for the Gunners to keep hold of the duo insisting the club will find it hard to replace the want-away midfielders. Former Blues coach Wilkins told talkSPORT:
“I think Arsenal will struggle to finish in the top four. They play some wonderful football but it’s so important to keep Fabregas and Nasri.
“It would take enormous money to replace two world class players like that and I don’t think they’re out there. And then you’ve got to rebuild again, and that’s tough doing. Wenger has a lot on his plate to get those guys to stay. And they’ve got to get a couple of winners in there.”
