TRANSFER NEWS: Milan Confirm Pato Is “Transferable”

By on August 11, 2011

AC Milan director Barbara Berlusconi cannot rule out the club selling Chelsea target Alexandre Pato.

The 21-year old has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea recently with speculation Blues boss Andre Villa-Boas has identified the striker as the perfect striker partner for Fernando Torres.

A move for the Brazilian international seems unlikely with the Premiership club set to sign Belgian wonderkid Romelu Lukaku. However, Berlusconi cannot rule out the sale if a potential suitor comes calling.

“Everyone is transferable and Pato is no different,” Barbara said. “This is a delicate matter that does not concern me.

“I’d rather not talk about it. We are simply enjoying ourselves and taking things one day at a time.”

Without Drogs this weekend we’d be playing Lukaku (never having played a game for us before) as our only central striker! Torres out and Studge banned! We are going to NEED Drogs this term

U a right! Good for Drogba to go to Inter and Anelka to Red Bull? Something has to be done to get another striker this fall.

Arrival of Pato or Naymar will literally mean end of the road for Drogba, Kalou/Anelka at Stamford Bridge. I still fwwl Drogba is potent for couple of years more.

If Milan want to sell, they should sell him to Chelsea in order to upgrade his career.

The transfer is important to chelsea as a team bcos i see his combination with torres working out perfectly.the only problem is the wilingness of the italian giants to loss their most valuable player, but if they agree to sell him then its a good deal 4 us.

for those that say they should keep drogba,we seem to forget that whenever any striker plays with drogba in chelsea, his talent depreciates. All the strikers that have played with drogba were great goal scorers in other clubs but with drogba in chelsea, their goalscoring abilities always suffers a set back so even if we give out drogba, it’s worth it so that the stars of all our fantastic strikers can start shining.

I honestly don’t think I want Nasri, his disloyalty to arsenal is pissing me off. Im a chelsea fan but they have made him what he is, i dont want us to buy a hleb/flamini/adebayor from them. Get Pato!! and play right behind torres!! or beside him, 4-1-2-1-2!! mikel, two wingers, playmaker(modric hopefully) then pato and fernando
