Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra, according to Sky Sports News.
A deal for the French midfielder is close to being finalised with the fee reported to be in the region of £10m. The 26-year-old used to play for Tottenham’s rivals Arsenal, as well as Chelsea, before finding his way to Madrid via Portsmouth where he played under the guidance of Harry Redknapp.
It seems the pair will be reunited once again as Sky Sports News sources claim Diarra is close to joining Spurs.
