Why didn’t wenger just take him as part of the nasri deal?! That way we would have got him at a good price. Now were desperate and they can demand more. Need Cahill, baines, creative cm, striker, and a back up gk

Wenger when he joined Arsenal liked to reveal multiple signings at once. It was his trademark. As was the press conference beforehand with all eyes on the door to see who walks through it. I also expect a big 11th hour signing right on the deadline.
I haven’t been this excited since I was a little kid on Christmas Eve.

You might just feel just as deflated as when you found out Santa wasn’t real when the deadline arrives and Wenger hasn’t brought any new signings to Arsenal

I hate to tell you my fellow arsenal fans; Arsene will not purchase anyone soon; if at all in this transfer window. As far as he’s concerned he’s already brought in 3 ‘quality’ players and Diaby will be back as a good as a new signing.

If wenger doesn’t bring anyone in not only will it prove he is leaving at the end of the season it also proves that arsenal as a club are not that attractive to star players we neva have been anyway! I still love u arsenal through thick and thin doesn’t mean I have to be blind to the truth. If ur going to be negative to my post at least speak english and use spell check!!

agreed, all he haer is that aw is intrested in this or that player but the next thing is that the said player is joining another club and stating that he would like to win trophys. what ever happened to arsenal? looks like nowadays we can only sign 14 year olds who have no ambitions of winning trophys. If we dont make to europe this year may be the useless board will wake up and realise what fans have been talking about.

It would be nice to get Johnson but we need defenders, defenders, defenders, midfield, midfield Jesus, Wenger haven’t you got it yet…we lost 8-2 today and we looked like we hadn’t got a clue what we were doing. The defence was a shambles. Someone must get the chop as average 1st division team wouldn’t have let in 8. Heart broken Gooner

use the transfer budget to buy a world class goalkeeper and some top defender… don’t waste budget on midfielders and striker…i feel that the mid and str is not bad already.

aw your time is up. I dont want to hear from your apologists. We are not backwards looking team like liverpool. as arsnel supporters we want to look to the future and what can be achieved. please go aw now. Your transfer policy has been a disaster for the past 6 years. You have sold all the captains in that period. Which other team has gone on to sale all their best players and not gone into the market to replace them? At the end of last season we were promised that you will be busy in the trasfer window. I thought you meant buying players. Alas I didnt know what you meant was selling more players from the already weak team. What is your game plan? To see the team relegated? No please go no. For a team like arsenal to be beaten by 6 goals that is humiliating. I suppose you and the board members will be laughing all the way to the bank after all the money is made from the sale of players.

Firstly Wenger to leave – I dont think so…. who would we get to replace him and they would still have to work with the squad we have….
Transfers: Cahill is an absolute must: Two cental midfielders are required – a play maker and a defensive midfielder.
A left back would be nice – but only because Gibbs is injury prone…
Eden Hazard and Kaka are pipe dreams so wake up and smell the coffee….
Wenger will not give more than £15 million for a player..
As for Adam Johnson – dont look at him as a City reject – the lad is pure class and loved by city fans … he’s just not a big enough name for Mancini
one has to wonder wether we need to revert back to a 4-4-2 And give Van Persie some help up front …. that said it’s nearly September, so his ankle should go on him very soon…
Pains me to say this but Gray Neville has made a very good point – both the Arsenal and United teams had an average age of 23 today – what a gulf in quality

It is unbelievable that arsenal has let go the team captain, the most talented midfielder, two first team defenders and Bendtner set to leave and we have only brought in one recognizable player, Gervinho. The remaining is squad is naturally affected psychologically and that was evident in today’s game. AW needs to wake up and cease these annoying experiments.

I wonder what will happen in our match against man city, chelsea, and likes of in form borossia dotmond in the champions league… May God help us because this are set of clubs that can utilise like 90 percent of their goal chances in a match.
I think man u made us to realise that when you loose a chance(goal attempt) then it is possible for the opponent to punish ur single wasted chance with two goals.
