Agent: Chelsea & Man Utd Target Won’t Be Leaving
Wesley Sneijder’s agent doesn’t expect the Dutch ace to move on before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
The Inter Milan playmaker was heavily linked with Manchester United this summer but a deal failed to materialise with rumours suggesting the midfielder demanded £250,000 a week to move to Old Trafford.
Despite interest cooling at Old Trafford, Sneijder was linked with a mega-money move to Manchester City last week but a move is unlikely with Samir Nasri arriving at the Eastlands.
Chelsea had been linked with the former Real Madrid ace yesterday but the 27-year old is unlikely to move to West London with the Blues favouring younger players in their bid to recapture the Premiership crown. But agent Davide Torchia says:
“Inter will hardly sell Sneijder.
“The big sale (Samuel Eto’o), the Nerazzurri have now done. Now, if they find something on the market, the big hit in my opinion will be someone coming in.”
