‘New’ Arsenal vs Swansea: Team News & Predicted Team
It’s not really about Swansea is it. Saturday is the curtain raiser to the “New Arsenal FC” and it is a day which I personally cannot wait for…
It’s quite early in the season but I am not going to be very optimistic of Arsenal anymore. Every time I do that we end up in a very bad state.
So on Saturday, if I am going to watch the match, its only because I want to see how this new Arsenal play. Do they stand a chance against top opponents and how a German can influence a defense? Yes, of course the points are important, but that is not the main reason why I shall be watching Arsenal on Saturday. I want to watch a team assembled in a matter of days play the Arsenal way. Arsenal’s state can be compared to a guy who has just puked after drinking, yeah, it feels relieving, but can you be composed after that?
2 days ago I was optimistic, and happy that I was finally going to see a good back four, something we have no got for 2 years at Arsenal. Sadly, I forgot to take into consideration the impractical and pathetic international break and what it does to Arsenal Football Club. It was bad enough that Jack Wilshere is out for 2 months, but to add to that category Thomas Vermaelen just makes me want to throw up.
Arteta arrives as the new play maker at the club. To be fair, it is a very difficult task and its unnecessary that as fans we pressurise him to deliver. He knows what he signed up for, and he is old enough to carry out his duties as demanded. Ramsey should occupy the midfield with him.
Szczesny will be ” the pole in between the poles.“ Koscielny and Per shall be the duo at the back, with Santos and Sagna playing on either side of them. Frimpong will play the CDM role, and shall be assisted by Rasmey, Arteta will be ‘free.’ Upfront it will be the trio of RVP, Arshavin and Theo (they better do something this time).
Gervinho, Song are both suspended from this match, however Frimpong returns from a ban. Theo Walcott is fit to play Swansea.
Probable Line -up :
I don’t know how we are going to play this Saturday, but all I know is that we all are looking forward to it. hopefully it won’t be 4 red cards in 4 matches, otherwise we might as well start with 10 men in every match.
Its time Gooners, our season starts now…
