Blackburn Rovers vs Arsenal: Preview, Injury News & Predicted Team
I cannot stress how important a win for us at Ewood Park will be. For the 3rd time will we see this new Arsenal team in action, and some would say that 3 is the charm. BUT, irrespective of whatever is said I know that time is required. A 0-2, or 0-1 will do for me, as long as we don’t concede.
Rovers have just picked up 1 point from their first 4 games, and they are a side which we can beat. However since they are also physically equipped it’s not going to be an easy task. Plus, Arsenal is a team full of surprises and mystery, so don’t write them off. Last time it was 1-2 to us, but AGAIN, as usual, ANYTHING can happen.
Injury News:
According to Arsene Wenger’s injury update, Ramsey is facing a late fitness test but could play. Vermaelen, Diaby and Wilshere remain out.
Probable Line-up:
It’s going to be interesting to see who we play tomorrow. If Ramsey was fit I would definitely integrate him into the system by playing a 4-2-3-1. Arteta and him could constantly switch during the game. Another interesting segment are the wings. Gervinho may start instead of Arshavin, but I think Wenger may choose the Russian because of the formers involvement in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Dortmund. We must remember that we do have many fixtures this season so keeping our squad fit and fresh for all of them will be crucial.
Cheers Gooners,
