Chelsea are leading the race to sign 15-year-old Real Madrid striker Jose Angel Pozo, fighting off competition from Premiership rivals Arsenal, according to several news reports.
Pozo is highly regarded at Madrid and has drawn comparisons to legend Raul for this style of play. Arsenal, along with Manchester City and Italian giants AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are also keen on the striker.
Initial rumours claimed Arsenal were in pole position to snap him up, but its now thought that Chelsea are the front runners for Pozo and are set to splash out £500,000 to secure his signature.
