AVB Reveals Abramovich Backing

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas remains confident that owner Roman Abramovich supports his attacking philosophy.

The Blues boss admits his attacking style will mean nothing if his he fails to deliver silverware but has no doubts his style is the correct way to approach a football match.

“At the moment, he’s good,” said Villas-Boas.

“We don’t avoid our responsibilities for winning titles.

“We will defend this philosophy to the death, but what is expected from us as a top club is to win titles.”

Villas-Boas has come under scrutiny in recent weeks following his sides’ back to back Premiership defeats to London rivals QPR and Arsenal, with the Gunner putting 5 past the Blues at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
