Dear Chopper. If Levy wouldn`t sell for 40mil pre season, It`s very unlikely Levy will sell him come January, especially if Tottenham sit where they are now come the end of Christmas, above Chelski. The times they are a changing! COYS!

What Chooper forgot was Modric never put in a transfer request! So he never tried everything!
Tottenham will never sell any player to Chelsea due to the way they do their business in public to unsettle the player before.
It’s meltdown at the bridge and Modric must be thinking “Thank God I did not go there”! As Bale said this week when Barca were trying the same trick “Spurs are on the up and going places”.
I don’t Spurs will win the league but they have a great chance of being in the top 3. Plus the others are in decline. If Spurs don’t win the league I hope City do. When Chelsea brought the league title a few years ago Roman did not care. Now City have out priced Chelsea he don’t luck it.
Top 6: 1/2 – City/Utd, 3 Spurs, 4 Liverpool, 5 Chelsea & 6 Arsenil (7 seasons of winning nothing)
If Modric and Bale are sold at the end of the season they will move abroad not to another top 6 team!

You’re not the top team in London yet but at the end of the season you might be. You have to keep Adebayor though.

I understand it perfectly. For the price we’d have to pay (around £60million, maybe more) we could fix the bigger problems in our team like a winger anc centre-back. Spurs were right to hold onto him. Chelea need to look elsewhere because if they don’t find someone fast they will finish outside the top 4.

Why?
He’d cost around £60 million and we need a centre-back (e.g. Gary Cahil- £15-20mil) and a winger (e.g. Hazard/Gotze-£30mil+). We have a playmaker in Mata but he has to play on the wing because Malouda, Anelka etc are crap.
