DANIEL LEVY – ‘Harry Doesn’t Want To Consider England Job’
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been discussing the future of Harry Redknapp at the clubs AGM, and claims he has no interest in discussing the England job
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been discussing the future of Harry Redknapp at the clubs AGM today, and claims the Spurs boss has no interest in discussing the England job.
Levy revealed that he has spoken with Redknapp about the opportunity to manage the England national team and claims that his manager is not interested in talking about the possibility of taking over from Fabio Capello at this time.
Levy did concede however, that they will deal with the situation if Redknapp is approached about the job in the summer. Speaking at the clubs AGM, Levy said:
“Harry has 18 months left on his contract.
“We have had a conversation that says as far as Harry is concerned, he is very happy here and that he doesn’t particularly want to consider England at the present time. We will worry about that situation if it arises in the summer.”
