Fears Grow That Nani Could Be Ruled Out For 2 Months
Manchester United winger Nani could be set for a spell on the sidelines, with the Mirror claiming the United star could miss up to 2 months with a foot injury.
Manchester United winger Nani could be set for an extended spell on the sidelines, with the Daily Mirror claiming the United star could miss 2 months with a foot injury.
Nani picked up the injury during the final stages of Sunday’s 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates and left the stadium in a protective boot.
The Mirror claim the Portuguese winger was in pain throughout the two-hour train ride back to Manchester and had a scan on the injury on Wednesday.
The initial fears are that he could have suffered damaged ligaments or possibly a broken metatarsal, and the report claims the 25-year-old could be set for up two months on the sidelines.
Nani has been in great form this campaign scoring 8 goals and providing 10 assists so if these fears are realised it would be another huge blow to Sir Alex Ferguson, who has had to deal with a host of injury problems this season.
