By on January 29, 2012

The FA Cup fifth round draw has taken place this afternoon and thrown up some intriguing ties, here are details of the draw.

Liverpool will play Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield, Everton will play Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday, Chelsea face Birmingham City at Stamford Bridge, Crawley Town will face Stoke City, Stevenage will play Tottenham, Norwich City drew Leicester City, Sunderland or Middlesborough will play Arsenal or Aston Villa and Millwall or Southampton play Bolton.

With the Premier Leagues current top two sides already out, after Liverpool beat City’s conquerors Manchester United 2-1 at Anfield yesterday, the remaining clubs will know they have a great opportunity to win some silverware this season.

Liverpool and Chelsea will be happy with their home draws against lower league opposition, and are likely to be installed as the bookies favourites.

The ties will be played on the weekend of the 18th February.
