Man City came out on top in the Academy league Manchester derby last weekend as they beat rivals United 3-1 at Platt Lane.
Nicolas Ioannou scored an early own goal to put City 1-0 up before Albert Rusnak doubled their lead shortly before half time. United got themselves back in the game just after the break when Luke Hendrie pulled one back but Andy Cole’s son, Devante, then sealed a 3-1 win for City, adding the third midway through the second half.
