Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez scored his first goal since returning to action following months in obscurity, netting in a 3-1 win for Man City reserves over Bolton reserves on Tuesday.
The goal was a scrappy one by the Argentines standards, but it will go some way to showing manager Roberto Mancini that he’s ready for first team action again. However, it’s expected the striker will spent at least another 7-10 days gaining fitness before he will be considered by Mancini.
