Steven Gerrard hit a hat-trick to end Liverpool’s three-match losing run, as they beat Merseyside rivals Everton 3-0 at Anfield tonight.
Captain Gerrard struck in the 34th minute to open the scoring before doubling the home sides lead in the 51st minute with a close range finish. Gerrard then marked his 400th appearance for Liverpool with a hat trick, firing into the roof of the net in the final minute.
