Arsenal’s exciting winger Ryo Miyaichi has completed his loan move to Bolton Wanderers for the rest of the season, the club confirmed on Arsenal.com this afternoon.
The 19-year-old Japanese international is highly regarded at Arsenal and was impressive during his 6 month loan spell at Dutch side Feyenoord last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists in just 12 games.
However, it seems Arsene Wenger doesn’t think he’s quite ready for first team football at the Emirates, and a loan move has been agreed to aid his development.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle has transformed the way the club play its football and Ryo should get some game-time at the Reebok in the coming months. Coyle told Bolton’s official website:
“He’s a very talented young player, who is quick and exciting,” manager Owen Coyle said. “He had a great spell on loan at Feyenoord last season.
“He’s a young player with tremendous promise and potential and hopefully at Bolton we can give him a platform on which he can display his qualities.”
Miyaichi will not be eligible for Bolton for Wednesday night’s game against the Gunners, but I wish Ryo the best of luck for the rest of the season.
