Arsenal Transfer News: Wenger Eyeing £7m Ligue 1 Stopper

Arsenal are mulling over making a move for Montpillier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, according to a report by the Daily Mirror, with the stopper available for £7m

Arsenal are mulling over a move for Montpillier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, according to a report by the Daily Mirror.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is likely to add to his defensive options this summer and the Mirror claim that the Frenchman has identified the 22-year-old as a possible target. The report states that the Montpillier captain has only one year left on his current deal and could be available this summer for around £7m.

Yanga-Mbiwa broke into the Montpillier side aged just 18 and has gone on to play over 150 games for the Ligue 1 outfit so far. His versatility will also be appealing to Wenger, although his primary position is centre back he is able to play anywhere across the backline as well as in defensive midfield.

The France under 21 international has previously revealed his desire to play in the Premier League, with the Mirror quoting him as saying:

“People live for football in England, and that is what I want to experience.

“I’ll see what offers I get, but English football is incredible. There is more physical contact than in France, but I like that – it suits my style of play.”

I will love to see a black man in our defence, when i say black, i mean a real black man, not djouru. Above all, i always admire any player from french league. Tommorow i will turn-off my tv immediately i set my eye ramsey on the starting eleven.

Thats great news Stephen because Arsenal F.C. do not need so called supporters like you!!!
Ramsey has more talent in his little finger than you have in your brain, so f’@k off and watch PSV or some other french club….good riddance.

It sound radiculars to hear awhole fun as he may claim to be throwing threats that he beter skip watching the game. Let him know that ARSENAL WAS EVEN B4 HE WAS CONCIEVED and it will live him being or not. Ramsey will remain aplayer and a gooner bearing in mind he snubf MAN-U in arsenals favour. He beter know rambo got a more soluble chemistry than him and switching his TV will not deter 60thousand fun in emirate to cheer rambo and co, as they turn blue water courerless and millions at large to switch on their radio and PAY TVS just to watch WENGER MAGICIAN. Gooner till death and RAMSEY AND CO, I LOVE YOU
