Doesnt mean he will stay. If he was staying he would have signed already. It’s nasri situation all over again. Remember how much Henry was supposedly a huge fan and had arsenal in his blood and he left to win champs league so it’s far from certain at the mo. Have to wait and see. I’d love him to stay but he deserves a better team so would understand if he left us.

far from the nasri situation.
nasri was more down to money, due to arsenal not offering him more then 85k a week. even wenger admitted it that he left due to city paying him more.
and difference is we should finish 3rd this time something we aint done in a long time.
v perise dose not seem one to be greedy about money, v perise has a wife and child that are setteld in the uk
henry was diforced
nasri single
and fabrigas was single at the time.
its clear v perise is thinking about his football carer but it wont be easy for him to pack up his life and move to spain.
with us finishing 3rd
bring in a few players
that should make v perise think that he can win things at the club.
but its football anything can happen

Ashley Cole was a boyhood fan as well. Money and the chance of winning cups will decide his future. I think, on balance, he will not sign a new contract. Whether that means we’ll keep him for a year and let him go for free or sell him for big money this summer I don’t know.

if he dose not sign, he will be sold this summer. Arsenal will not lose 20 million on a player who dose not want to play at the club.
and big money ?
even if he dose leave it wont be for more then 20-25M
his in the last year no club will offer more knowing arsenal will have to sell

I’ve never seen so many spelling errors as in these comments. Its normally not such a big deal, but these comments make it seem as if its being done as joke to make Arsenal fans look stupid.

Look at it from a different point of view Arsenal fans are all over the world and lots of them don’t use English as the first language so don’t mock the typos just be proud my friend.

Ashley Cole was a massive Arsenal fan from a toddler. Before he joined the club he was in the stands of Highbury with the other supporters – It didn’t stop him leaving for one of our main London rivals.
There’s a photo somewhere with Ashley Cole wearing an Arsenal shirt when he was about 7.

Why go on tickling your nerves unnecessarily when all we have to do is simply wait a week or two!

@ optaylor lol… but seriously, arsenal have a global fanbase and english may not be their first language. Look at manure and liverpool comments on goal.com and you’ll find the same.

Arsenal fans are smart if Van perfect leaves we will understand and support him because we will all take a better opportunity in life if it comes up and if he stays good for us but we should never hate the guy for having ambition and trying to make his place in history if Arsenal don’t show they are willing to WIN WIN WIN trophies.

Did you hear what Arsene said? He is expecting a ‘quiet’ summer of transfer activity at Arsenal. You heard it folks, not many new signings and no big stars coming to Arsenal. It’ll be more of the same old same old. Why would RVP want to stay just for that.

Wengers comments have changed over last week. He’ll definitely stay to we must win for him to stay. For the past few years been drip feed comment on several players that ‘They will not be leaving ..’ Henry, Viera, Nasri, Clichy & Fabregas all gone.
If Barca’ or Real come in with mind blowing option have to be prepared that he will go.

That’s a stupid thing to say, he could get £200,000 a week at Man City if he left. So to imply it’s all about money is totally understand the other motivations and factors that come into play, his age, desire to win the league, his family etc. Of course money is a factor, it’s a factor for most people, but when you earn over a certain amount and you are a multimillionaire you can let other things sway mind.

I’m not too sure Bouchra will want to move house again and their son is settled in school in London. They both love living in London
Personally cant see him wanting to leave; he deserves an improved contract.
Nasri left because he was a greedy little mercenary!
