Jack Wilshere Taunts Tottenham Fans After Arsenal Pip Spurs To Third

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has wound up Tottenham fans with a series of Tweets after the Gunners finished above their rivals on a dramatic final day on Sunday.

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere might not be the most popular player in the white half of North London today after he wound up Spurs fans with a series of tweets on Sunday evening.

The midfielder has spent the entire season on the sidelines with an ankle injury but couldn’t hide his delight after his side secured third place with a 3-2 win over West Brom on Sunday.Β The win not only secured Champions League football next season for the Gunners but it also meant they finished above rivals Tottenham, who now face a nervy wait to see if they’ll join Arsenal in Europe’s elite competition next season.

After the final whistle was blown at the Hawthornes, Wilshere taunted Spurs fans by using his official Twitter account to say:

Shortly after, Wilshere then wound up Spurs fans further by claiming all Arsenal fans will be cheering on Chelsea to win the Champions League on Saturday night, a win that would mean Spurs missing out on Champions League football next term.

Why all d Crying Tottenham? U can never be like d gunners no matter how hard u try. I heard someone saying if not for RVP we wouldnt have been where we re. Is RVP not an Arsenal player? He did wat he was paid to do. Why didnt Van dar Vaart and Adebayor give u guys d 3rd position? Simply bcos we have better players and coach dan ur f**king club. So just chill and lick ur stinky wounds. ARSENAL d KING of London…u Totts know dat. U Totts just have to respect d Gunners cos we re no matc for u guys. U re just an average team but we re a Super Power in modern Football. UP GUNNERS. Always Gunning down weak Tottenham.

Arsenal were poor this year, but spuds were even worse. Next year Gunners will be better, Jack will be back and spuds will be worse, wait and see. That was your one chance to finish above us and you blew bottled it. You’re not even a small club, you’re just bottlers. Kiss my Arsenal.
