Italians To Offer Arsenal Young Playmaker In Exchange For Flop Chamakh

Marouane-Chamakh-Arsenal

Fiorentina are interested in swapping young playmaker Adem Ljajic for Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh, according to talkSPORT.

The report claims that the Italian’s chief scout Eduardo Macia has identified Chamakh as a potential signing this summer, and is willing to offer 20-year-old schemer Ljajic in exchange. Both players are valued at £6m by their clubs so a straight swap deal could suit both parties.

Ljajic is a Serbian playmaker who came close to joining Manchester United in 2010 from Partizan, but ended up at Fiorentina after the move to Old Trafford fell through.

The youngster has struggled to make his mark in Serie A this season and recently hit the headlines when he was punched by then coach Delio Rossi, who was subsequently sacked for the incident, after reacting sarcastically to being substituted.

Chamakh has endured a torrid season at Arsenal and made only 11 Premier League appearances last term, scoring just one goal, and it’s widely expected that the 28-year-old will leave the Emirates this summer.

If Arsene Wenger has any sort of interest in Ljajic, then he should consider this swap deal carefully. We need to get Chamakh off the books and if we’re going to get a talented young playmaker in return, then even better.

I will personally drive Chamakh to Italy myself if this can happen. Although however much of a nutter the Italian coach is for punching his own player….the phrase no smoke without fire springs to mind..

Van Persie was a “bad boy” at Feyenoord. Vieira and Henry both flopped in Italy. The kid deserves a second chance – however, not at the expense of somebody established like Kagawa.

C’mon people! Remember AW said, for us to buy we have to sell & I’m 100% in agreement with the boss. We have alot of deadwood &are over paid. Getting an underperforming CAM from Italy to the EPL which is highly competitive is not an answer to Arsenal’s problems. If we can get rid of atleast 6-7 of our these out of favour players thats Chamack &other so as to invest in atleast 3 World class players who’ll ensure success

When chamakh got a run in the team he did arsenal proud and tbh his last 2 sub appearances he looked the business. He might leave but he is an arsenal fan and the way the fans have treated mostly the newcomers has been nothing short of a disgrace.

If RVP goes, I would rather have Chamark and another top striker possibly Giroud.I strongly believe if Chamark gets a run of games, he will prove pple wrong. While podolski and someone else will be busy getting used to EPL bullying chamark should/ must provide the goods.

In my opinion I would still give chamakh one more chance to shine at Arsenal. He gave some great performances in his first season. He dint get enough chance this season due to the success performance of Van Persie…

Not to forget, If Chamakh leaves, Arsenal will be missing one of the best headers. So far, he is the great header of the ball in the team, Better than Van persie ofcourse..

The only Viola player worth looking at is Stevan Jovetic. Just a thought.

Ljajic is a great player most talking crap here never watch aerie a kid has been shut down by his coach this year he never played him and when he did he took him off after 40 mins that’s why he blew up .when mihajlovicwas the coach he was in starting 11 playing evey game, taking penalties and on the verge of becoming a captain .this kid is full of potential and Arsene could turn him into a star at arsenal .if ferguson signed him then you know he knew what he could be he sold him to Viola because partisan Belgrade did shady business and manu didn’t want to get their name involved into that .Ljajic is of Bosniak /Bosnian nationality .

Well the RVP is going and theamount of injuries in the past i only hope he DOES not get injured for the next season because it would be tragic!

It’s suspicious how RVP10 takes pleasure in calling Chamakh a flop. Either chamakh is not a flop or Fiorentia is crazy for showing interest. Chamakh had limited play time this season for one obvious reason and it is not his form. Finding a sub these days that works for the Team and does not complaint is an advantage. If Chamakh cared for himself he would have left Arsenal a long time ago. Chamakh weakness is that he is a team player and does not show much individuality except in the air. His role in Arsenal is significant within a sound team. In contrast RVP could thrive as an individual player because of his skills however he is not the whole team. 30 goals are useless when the team loses or does not qualify. The issue facing Wenger is still the same since Nasri, Cesc and clichy left: finding quality midfield and strengthning the defense. If that happens the scoring and workload will be spread out and more consistent. Alternatively, you can decide to get rid of your role players and pray that RVP continues to score into next year. More likely, average out RVPs performance the last 3 years to predict next year and the difference will have to come from midfield and other role players…

4 m own point of view i tink chamak is still a gr8 option 4 wenger, bicox am not sure d@ rvp w sign a new deal. & whn luka get busy adapt 2 lyf in england, i tink w can stil back on chamak. So i dnt support ideal of selling him or swap him 4 anybody.

i would be more excited about getting rid of Chamakh than bringing this guy in but he would be worth a punt. i would actually give them Chamakh for nothing if they’d take him
