Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was on target as Uruguay drew 1-1 away to Russia on Friday evening.
Suarez opened the scoring shortly after half time, cutting in from the right side of the area before firing home with a neat left foot finish. However, the home side levelled just a minute later when Kerzhakov took advantage of some slack Uruguayan defending. Neither side could find a winner and the game finished 1-1.
