Van Persie’s Wife Hints At Arsenal Stay

Robin van Persie 2

The wife of  Robin van Persie has hinted the striker will remain at Arsenal, declaring that their family are happy in London.

Speaking in the Sun newspaper, Bouchra van Persie is quoted as saying that the Gunners showed faith to her husband during his injury problems and she doesn’t feel it would be right to repay the club by thinking about making a move.

The part-time model went on to confirm that van Persie and his family are happy and settled in London, giving a clear signal that they could remain at the Emirates.

“Arsenal showed faith in Robin when he was going through a lean time, so we should not repay them by thinking about other clubs.

“Our home life and our children are happy in London.”

It’s not only his wife who would like him to stay at Arsenal, as Robin’s mother has also had her say on her son’s future.

Jose van Persie is quoted in the Sun as saying that Arsenal are a fantastic club who idolise Robin, and that gives him great incentive to stay.

“Arsenal love him and that’s a great incentive to stay. Arsenal are a fantastic club.

“They have no debts and Robin is idolised there.”

Manchester City, Juventus and Barcelona are among the clubs said to be interested in signing our 30-goal striker this summer, but it seems he will remain a Gunner if his family have anything to do with it.

Make no mistake, van Persie is very much a family man and will most certainly take their views on board when making a decision over his future. He has said many times before that his family’s happiness comes first, so i think these comments, particularly from his wife, tell us far more about what’s going on in the van Persie camp than some apparent ‘inside source’ in a tabloid newspaper.

If his wife and children want to stay in London, i think Robin would find it very difficult to up-root them and move elsewhere. However, the next problem for Arsenal fans will be if RVP decides he can handle the commute to Manchester every day, or possibly pushes for a move across the capital to Chelsea!

Hope he stays with us, obviously. If he does have to leave I hope we get a good price for him and he goes abroad. Brca or Real would suit him. But he will never look as sik in any shirt as he does in an Arsenal shirt!!!

This is the most encouraging sign that Arsenal fans have seen since the end of the season that Van Persie will stay with the club. I have to say that I have been conflicted in that Arsenal have been extremely patient with his frequent injuries, especially when so many were asking for him to be sold. Hopefully Van Persie can sign an extention and repay the club for the patience and faith shown over the years. RVP will be an Arsenal legend!

What a nice talk from his family?!! I believe Arsenal had shown clemency on Robin Van Persie when needed, and they use to say, One good did turn to deserve another, so the time has come to Arsenal back, i wish more happy stay.

Well I hope Robin’s a good boy in everyday life and stays in London where his family is feeling home.

I don’t think he’ll move to Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, Fulham, QPR or whatever. 😛

Yep stale news, grasping at straws. Also do your research, Barça have clearly said they don’t need him, so stop being controversial to get traffic.

Van persie should stay, but wenger should do more keep him and make good signings to help the team, for him to stay. Bcuz rvp can continue with trophyless mentality.
