Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny will start tonight for France as they take on defending European champions Spain in the quarter finals.
Koscielny was one of the Gunners most reliable performers last season and his form didn’t go un-noticed as Laurent Blanc selected him in Frances Euro 2012 squad. He’s had to play second fiddle to Mexes and Rami so far but gets his first start in place of Mexes.
Former Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri finds himself on the bench amid rumours of a bust up within the France squad, while former Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas also plays in place of Chelsea striker Fernando Torres. Here are the line-ups:
Spain Team:
Casillas, Arbeloa, Pique, Ramos, Alba, Busquets, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Silva.
France Team:
Lloris; Reveillere, Rami, Koscielny, Clichy; Debuchy, M’Vila, Cabaye, Malouda; Benzema, Ribery.
