Despite the transfer window being closed, there is always transfer gossip doing the rounds in the papers and we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest news during the coming months. Today, Liverpool are linked with Artem Milevskiy.
Liverpool are weighing up a move for Artem Milevskiy after Dynamo Kiev put the striker up for sale this January, according to talkSPORT.
The Reds hold a long-term interest in the Ukrainian forward after being linked with him in previous transfer windows, and Brendan Rodgers could go back in for the 27-year-old next month.
Milevskiy is in the final year of his contract with Kiev and has so far been unable to agree terms over an extension, leading to speculation over his future at the club.
Kiev have now decided to put him on the transfer list and sell him in January instead of losing him for nothing in the summer, and Liverpool could pick him up for as little as £1.6m when the window re-opens.
Milevskiy has spent his entire senior career in the Ukrainian capital and has scored 87 goals in 273 games during his 10-years with the club. However, it seems his time with Kiev is up and Liverpool could be the ones to benefit with Brendan Rodgers desperate to add to his strike-force in January.

Rodgers has claimed he will have money to spend and admits a striker is a priority due to his over-reliance on Luis Suarez for goals this season, but should he move for Milevskiy he will face stiff competition with the likes of Fiorentina and Lazio also tracking the Ukrainian international.
