Manchester United won a five-goal thriller against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon with Robin van Persie grabbing a late winner.

United raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to a double from Wayne Rooney and had the ball in the net again early in the second half when Young tapped home after Van Persie had hit the bar, but the goal was wrongly ruled out for offside. City hit back almost immediately to half the deficit when Yaya Toure slotted home before Zabaleta made it 2-2 with just 5 minutes remaining. However, there was one more twist as Van Persie’s stoppage time free-kick was deflected past Hart via the boot of Nasri.
