United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to end a long drought having not won the Cup since 2004 but faces a tricky away tie this evening against Sam Allardyce’s side.
However, Fergie has risked an upset by resting several key men against the Hammer with the likes of Robin van Persie, Rio Ferdinand, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young all on the bench today. Shinji Kagawa and Nemanja Vidic start as they continue to build their match fitness.
