Liverpool have stepped up their attempts to secure their second signing of the transfer window after tabling a £10 million for Fenerbache striker Moussa Sow, according to the Metro.
The report claims Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is still keen to add another striker to his ranks this month despite the £12m acquisition of Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea last week.
The Merseysiders have been linked with a whole host of names in recent weeks and the Metro suggest Rodgers has been forced to look elsewhere after PSG refused to do business for hitman Kevin Gamiero.
His search seems to have lead him to Fenerbache forward Sow, with the newspaper claiming Liverpool have submitted a £10 million bid for the 26-year-old and are waiting to here back from the Turkish outfit to see if it’s been successful.

The powerfully built Senegal international only joined Fenerbache in January 2012 and has scored 14 goals in 28 games so far in his Super Lig career, so you’d have to question whether the Turkish giants will be ready to let him go already. And the other question would be, even if he does make the move to Anfield, where will he fit in alongside Sturridge and Suarez?
