Chelsea are set to meet with representatives of Bayer Leverkusen attacker Andre Schurrle to discuss personal terms over a £20m move Stamford Bridge this summer
Despite the transfer window being closed there is still plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Chelsea step up their interest in Andre Schurrle.
Chelsea are set to meet with representatives of Bayer Leverkusen attacker Andre Schurrle to discuss personal terms over a proposed £20m move Stamford Bridge this summer, according to the Mirror.
The report claims Schurrle’s agents were at Wembley on Sunday to watch Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Man City in the semi final’s of the FA Cup and the Blues are now expected to open talks this week ahead of a move to west London at the end of the season.
The newspaper suggests Roman Abramovich was keen to land the talented 22-year-old last summer but was priced out of a move, but it’s now believed Leverkusen are ready to cash-in at the end of the season and the Blues owner is keen to tie up a £20m deal swiftly.
Schurrle is a versatile forward who can play anywhere across the front-line so will provide Chelsea with plenty of options in attack should he complete a move this summer.
