Tottenham Hotspur take on Hull City at White Hart Lane for the second time in four days in the Capital One Cup fourth round. Here’s our predicted line-up.
Tottenham Hotspur take on Hull City at White Hart Lane for the second time in four days in the Capital One Cup fourth round on Wednesday night.
The two sides met on Sunday with Spurs running out 1-0 winners thanks to a controversial late penalty that was converted by Roberto Soldado, so Hull will be out for revenge tomorrow.
Andre Villas-Boas is expected to shuffle his pack for the game and gives several first team players a well-earned rest with the likes of Michael Dawson, Mousa Dembele, Andros Townsend and Roberto Soldado all expected to be given a breather.
Kyle Naughton is expected to fill in at left-back with Danny Rose still recovering from a toe injury while Mousa Dembele could be recalled in place of Sandro after the Brazilian started three games in a week.
Summer signings Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli are all expected to feature while Jermaine Defoe should spearhead the attack.
