Chelsea beat rivals Arsenal 2-0 in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night. Here’s what Azpilicueta, Ramires, Mata and De Bruyne said on Twitter after the game.
Chelsea eased to a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday night to reach the last eight of the Capital One Cup.
Spanish defender Cesar Azpilicueta put the visitors ahead with an opportunistic strike after an error from Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson midway through the first half before Juan Mata capped a fine performance with a stunning second in the 66th minute.
After the game, the two goals scorers along with midfielder Ramires – a second half substitute – and young winger Kevin De Bruyne all took to Twitter to react to the win. Here’s what they had to say:
