Liverpool travel to Hull City on Sunday afternoon looking to keep pace at the top of the Premier League.
The Reds head into the game sitting seven points behind leaders Arsenal after the Gunners 3-0 win over Cardiff, so victory over the Tigers on Sunday is going to be vital for the Anfield club to maintain their title hopes.
Brendan Rodgers men are on a decent run on the road, losing just once in their last 10 Premier League away games, although they have managed to pick up just one win from their previous five so will be looking to rectify that with all three points at the KC Stadium.
However, they will have to try and do it without one half of their deadly strike duo as Daniel Sturridge has been ruled out with an ankle injury that could see him on the sidelines for up to six weeks.
The England ace came off the bench to rescue a point in a thrilling Merseyside derby last weekend, with Liverpool having to come from behind to snatch a 3-3 draw at the death having led 1-0 and 2-1 during the match.
Hull on the other hand will be looking to get back to winning ways after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace last weekend, which was their fourth loss in their last five league games.
Steve Bruce has been dealt an injury blow with centre-back Paul McShane ruled out with a hamstring injury, so Alex Bruce is expected to come in and play alongside Cutis Davies at the heart of defence.
James Chester remains out and is joined by Sone Aluko and Stephen Quinn on the sidelines.
As previously mentioned, Liverpool will be without Daniel Sturridge due to an ankle injury picked up in training on Friday so Rodgers has a decision to make up front. Suarez is likely to be deployed in the lone striking role with Victor Moses coming in to support him in attack.
Jose Enrique remains out so Jon Flanagan will hope to retain his place at left-back after an excellent showing at Goodison Park last time out.
Likely Line-Ups
Key Man
Luis Suarez: With Sturridge missing, the pressure is going to be on the Uruguayan to provide the main goal-threat and with 9 goals in 7 games, we know he’s capable of producing the goods. Suarez is clearly the one to watch in this game.
Predicted Score
Hull 0-2 Liverpool: Despite the absence of Sturridge, a Suarez-inspired Liverpool should still have too much for the home side.
