Liverpool To Miss Out On Chelsea Defender Due To Row Over Victor Moses
Chelsea are expected to block any attempts by Liverpool to sign Ryan Bertrand due to frustrations over the lack of playing time Victor Moses has been given.

Today, Chelsea are set to block Ryan Bertrand’s proposed move to Liverpool.
Chelsea are expected to block any attempts by Liverpool to sign Ryan Bertrand this month due to frustrations over the lack of playing time Victor Moses has been given at Anfield, according to the Mirror.
The Blues agreed to let Moses join their Premier League rivals on a season-long loan in the summer with the understanding he would be given ample playing time in the first team.
However, after a promising start to life on Merseyside, the Nigerian international has fallen out-of-favour, with Brendan Rodgers now preferring Raheem Sterling in attack.
Moses has started just six times in the league and was substituted at half-time during Liverpool’s 2-0 FA Cup win over Oldham on Sunday, and it’s left Chelsea feeling less than impressed at how the attacker is progressing while away on loan.
The Mirror claim the west Londoners frustration will now see them reject the advances of Liverpool for unsettled defender Ryan Bertrand. The 24-year-old is expected to be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge this month with Liverpool understood to be interested in taking him to Anfield.
Rodgers is short of options at left-back following injuries to Jose Enrique and Jon Flanagan, but the newspaper suggests Chelsea will now refuse to do business with the Merseysiders as tensions mount over the treatment of Moses.
