Blues boss Jose Mourinho has already confirmed his back four and goalkeeper will be unchanged from the side that lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace on Saturday, so Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta will all start.
Nemanja Matic is ineligible having already played for Benfica in the competition so David Luiz is expected to start in midfield alongside Ramires – who should be fresh having sat out the last two games through suspension.
Andre Shurrle could join Willian and Eden Hazard in attack with Oscar among the subs, while Fernando Torres will start up front with Samuel Eto’o left back in London to nurse a hamstring injury that he picked up during the early stages against Arsenal 10 days ago.
