The Blues booked their place in the last four thanks to a late Demba Ba goal which secured an away goals victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the previous round, but will now face an Atletico side that knocked out Barcelona.
Jose Mourinho has opted to start Fernando Torres against his old club with Samuel Eto’o ruled out with a minor knee injury, but Eden Hazard is not deemed fit enough to even make the bench due to a calf injury. Ashley Cole starts at the back with Branislav Ivanovic suspended.
