Tottenham Team News & Predicted Starting XI To Face Southampton

Tottenham Hotspur will look to get back to winning ways when they entertain Southampton at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon. Here is team news and a predicted line-up:

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris proved once again why he’s one of the best in the world over the past two games and there’s no doubt he’ll start unless he picks up a late injury.

Defence: Kyle Walker continue’s to be Mauricio Pochettino’s only main injury concern with the defender still out with a hip problem, so Kyle Naughton could continue to deputise at right-back ahead of Eric Dier. Jan Vertonghen returned to the starting eleven against Arsenal last weekend and should start alongside Younes Kaboul while Danny Rose is fit to return at left-back.

Midfield: Having been rested for Thursday nights draw with Besiktas, Etienne Capoue should be restored to midfield this weekend. Youngster Ryan Mason started alongside the Frenchman last weekend but I think we’ll see Mousa Dembele come in against the Saints.

Attack: Pochettino has consistently gone with Eric Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli as his attacking trio behind main striker Emmanuel Adebayor in the league and I don’t see that changing on Sunday. Harry Kane is pushing for a start having scored on Thursday night but I think he’ll have to make do with a place on the bench.
