Pochettino Makes 5 Changes: Predicted Tottenham Starting XI To Face Everton
Tottenham will be looking to continue their push for the top four when they take on Everton at White Hart Lane on Sunday. Here is our predicted line-up:
Tottenham will be looking to continue their push for the top four when they take on Everton at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon. This is the team we think Mauricio Pochettino will select:
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris kept goal for last night’s 1-0 win over Belgrade and the Frenchman is certain to keep his place for Sunday’s game.
Defence: Younes Kaboul may miss out once again due to personal reasons which should see Federico Fazio come back in to replace Vlad Chiriches alongside Jan Vertonghen at the back. Danny Rose is a doubt with a chest injury so Ben Davies could continue at left-back while Eric Dier may replace Kyle Naughton at right-back with Kyle Walker still not deemed fit enough for a first team return.
Midfield: Etienne Capoue remains an injury doubt so Belgian international Mousa Dembele could be selected ahead of Nabil Bentaleb and Benjamin Sambouli to partner Ryan Mason in midfield, with the youngster recalled after being given a breather on Thursday night.
Attack: Emmanuel Adebayor is a doubt with a back injury so Roberto Soldado should continue up front while Christian Eriksen is expected to come back in having been rested in midweek. Erik Lamela should keep his place on the wing with Andros Townsend likely to miss out with a foot injury while Harry Kane could start in attack with Nacer Chadli struggling to shake off a knee problem.
So this is how we think Spurs will line-up this weekend:
What do you think of the team? What side would you put out?
