The FA Cup fourth round ties involving Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are among those that have been selected to be broadcast live on television, it has been confirmed this evening.
Arguably the most intriguing tie of the fourth round sees League Two Cambridge United host the mighty Manchester United at Abbey Stadium, so understandably the game has been selected to be shown live on TV.
The match will now be broadcast on BBC One on Friday 23rd January, kicking off at 7.55pm.
Liverpool were made to work for their place in the fourth round after edging past AFC Wimbledon on Monday night and the Merseysiders clash with Bolton Wanderers at Anfield will now be broadcast on BT Sport on Saturday 24th, kicking off at 5.30pm.
Having beaten last years finalists Hull City 2-0 at the Emirates in the third round, holders Arsenal were pitted against Brighton & Hove Albion in the next round after the Championship outfit beat Brentford 2-0.
The clash at the Amex Stadium has also been chosen for live TV and will now be played in front of the BT Sport camera’s on Sunday 25th January, kicking off at 4pm.
Other games that will be shown on TV include Blackburn Rovers against Swansea City, Doncaster Rovers or Bristol City vs Everton or West Ham, and Rochdale against Stoke City.
