Louis van Gaal has made one change from the side that beat Aston Villa with Chris Smalling returning to the back four alongside Phil Jones after recovering from illness. Marcos Rojo is the man to make way.

Robin van Persie fails to make the squad despite returning to training last week after recovering from an ankle injury.

Manuel Pellegrini recalls Pablo Zabaleta at right-back while Vincent Kompany passes a late fitness test on a hamstring injury.

James Milner comes in to add another body in midfield with Edin Dzeko dropping to the bench.
