[Video] Luis Suarez Makes Surprise Visit To Liverpool’s Melwood Training Ground

Luis Suarez has made a special appearance at Liverpool’s Melwood training base today as the Reds prepare to take on Manchester United in the Europe League.

Suarez spent three-and-a-half-years at Anfield and scored 82 goals in 133 appearances for the Merseysiders, including 31 goals in his final season to almost guide Liverpool to their first Premier League title.

The Uruguayan’s incredible form earned him a big-money move to Barcelona in 2014 and he’s been a huge hit in Spain, combining wonderfully well with Lionel Messi and Neymar, and has scored 67 goals in 84 appearances for the Catalans already.

However, Suarez has now been spotted back at Melwood today with Mamadou Sakho uploading a video with his former team mate to his Twitter account a short while ago.

It’s not clear why Suarez was back at Liverpool but as Barcelona have no game this week, the striker is probably just back seeing some old friends during some down time.

I’m sure Liverpool fans will be hoping the players and staff bolt the doors at Melwood and kidnap Suarez. They could certainly have done with some of his magic at Anfield this season.
