Tottenham will look to keep pace with leaders Leicester City when they take on Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday evening.  Here is the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris is certain to keep his place in goal with Michel Vorm once again among the substitutes.

Defence: Toby Alderweireld has been able to train this week despite pulling out of the Belgian squad for their friendly with Portugal earlier this week due to illness. Pochettino has confirmed that the defender is available for selection so he should line-up at the back this weekend.

Jan Vertonghen is close to making his comeback from a knee injury but this game may come too soon so Kevin Wimmer is expected to keep his place along with first choice full backs Danny Rose and Kyle Walker.

Midfield: Tottenham have no fresh injury worries in midfield so Eric Dier is set to once again start alongside Mousa Dembele in the middle of the park. Nabil Bentaleb remains out with a long-term knee injury.

Attack: Tottenham will assess Erik Lamela’s fitness after he picked up a minor muscle injury while on international duty but the attacker is expected to be passed fit to start against Liverpool at Anfield.

I don’t think Pochettino will make any changes form the side that eased to an impressive 3-0 win over Bournemouth before the international break so Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen should continue to support Harry Kane in attack.

Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
